NEWS: Optimum MD Tom Heeley joins GB Olympic moguls team

Optimum MD Tom Heeley will be working with Great Britain’s Olympic hopefuls after signing a two-year agreement with GB Snowsport.

Tom will be overseeing the GB men and women’s moguls team supporting any injured athletes when they are at home in the UK or on international trips for training camps and competitions.

He will be with the team from the beginning of next month, through to the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milano-Cortina, Italy.

Tom will meet up with the squad on two Scandinavian trips in December.

He will visit Ruka in Finland and Idre Fjall in Sweden for the team’s World Cup competition meetings.

“I am absolutely delighted to be working with British Ski and Snowboard again,” said Tom. “It’s a cracking set-up and I can’t wait to get going.”

“There’s a really talented group of athletes in the moguls squad who will be fully committed to challenging at the top of the leaderboard in World Cup this season.

“And with the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics on the horizon, I’m really excited to be working with them to help them both prevent – and recover – from any injuries and knocks they may receive in such a gruelling discipline.”

Optimum Derby will remain fully open, despite Tom’s work with the BSS and both new and existing clients can be sure of the same high-quality treatment they are used to.
